Why does my computer say data recovery cannot be completed, and how can I fix it?
I'm getting the error data recovery cannot be completed while trying to recover my files. I've retried the process, but it keeps failing. What usually causes this issue, and are there any proven ways to recover the data successfully?

That message can appear for a few reasons, like a failing drive, corrupted file system, not enough free space, or errors in the recovery software. I'd first restart the computer, check the drive for errors, and make sure there's enough storage available. If it still fails, try recovering the data with a different recovery tool or connect the drive to another PC. I've had better luck recovering files that way when Windows couldn't finish the process.

Recovery errors commonly result from disk corruption, hardware failure, limited storage, or faulty software. Restart, scan the drive, verify free space, then recover files using another computer or tool.

A "Data Recovery Cannot Be Completed" error usually indicates system, storage, or recovery issues. Restart your computer, run Startup Repair, check the drive for errors, free disk space, or restore from a backup.

This error commonly appears when Windows cannot finish the recovery process because of disk errors, corrupted system files, or insufficient storage. Run Startup Repair, check the drive, free up space, or restore from a recent backup.
