What are applications on iphone storage, and what do they include?
I noticed applications on iphone storage is using a lot of space on my iPhone. Does this only include installed apps, or does it also count app data, cache, and downloads? What's the best way to reduce it without losing important data?

On an iPhone, Applications in storage refers to the space used by installed apps along with their related data. This includes the app itself, downloaded files, cached content, documents, settings, and other information the app stores to function properly.

The Applications section in iPhone Storage shows how much space your installed apps consume, including the app files, cached data, saved documents, downloads, preferences, and other app-generated content.

The Applications category in iPhone Storage represents the total space occupied by your installed apps and their associated data. It covers the app files, saved documents, offline downloads, cache files, preferences, and other stored information required for apps to operate correctly.

Applications in iPhone Storage are the applications installed on the phone and the data that they contain. This includes the application and documents, caches, downloaded content, settings and temporary files. It's good to check how much storage is being used, and decide if an app needs to be offloaded or cleaned up.
