No hard disk installed – What does this error mean and how can I fix it?
I'm getting a no hard disk installed error when I start my computer, and it won't boot into Windows. I'm not sure if it's a BIOS setting, a loose connection, or if the drive has failed. Has anyone dealt with this before? What steps should I try to diagnose and fix the problem without risking my data...

The "No hard disk installed" error means your computer cannot detect the internal drive. Check BIOS settings, reconnect the drive, verify cables, update firmware, or replace a faulty hard disk.
