How to uninstall apps on Mac?

I'm trying to free up some storage on my Mac and want to remove apps I no longer use. What's the best way to uninstall apps on Mac completely, including any leftover files or settings? Are there any built-in methods or reliable tools you recommend?

  To uninstall apps on a Mac, open Finder > Applications, drag the app to the Trash, then empty the Trash. Some apps may also include a dedicated uninstaller.
