How to burn a CD?

I need to burn a CD with some files, but I'm not sure what the easiest method is. I'm using a computer with a CD/DVD writer and a blank disc. What's the best way to burn a CD, and do I need any specific software, or can I do it using the built-in tools? Any tips to avoid errors would be appreciated.

Insert a blank CD, open disc-burning software, add your files, choose Burn, and wait until the process finishes. Verify the disc afterward to ensure data copied successfully.
