1 month agoYou actually can't archive text messages in the iPhone Messages app like you can on Android. If I want to keep my inbox clean, I usually just delete conversations I no longer need or back them up to iCloud so I don't lose important messages. If you're trying to hide or save specific texts, there are a few workarounds, but there's no built-in archive feature on iPhone.

4 weeks agoUnlike Android, iPhones don't have a built-in option to archive text messages in the Messages app. If I want to keep important conversations without deleting them, I usually back them up using iCloud or a computer with Finder/iTunes. Another option is to hide message notifications or use third-party apps if you need true archiving functionality.
