How do I unzip a file on Windows without using third-party software?
I need help understanding how do I unzip a file on Windows using the built-in tools. Can someone explain the steps and whether there are any limitations when extracting compressed files on Windows?

To unzip a file on Windows without third-party software, locate the ZIP file in File Explorer, right-click it, and select Extract All. Choose where you want the files saved, then click Extract. Windows will automatically create a folder containing the unzipped files, ready for you to access and use.

Windows has built-in ZIP support, so you don't need any extra software. Just right-click the ZIP file, select Extract All, choose a destination folder, and click Extract. I use this method myself for most ZIP files since it's quick and works well for basic extraction needs.

If it's a regular ZIP file, you don't need any extra software. Just right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All, choose where you want the files to go, and click Extract. I use this built-in option all the time since it's quick and works well for standard ZIP archives.
