How do I connect a hard disk usb c to different devices?
I recently got a hard disk usb c and want to use it with my laptop, desktop, and possibly my phone. Do I need to format it in a specific file system for better compatibility, or will it work out of the box? I'd also appreciate any tips for getting the best transfer speeds and keeping my data safe.

Connecting a USB-C hard disk is straightforward across devices. Use compatible USB-C ports or adapters, ensure supported file systems, and safely eject the drive after each use.

To connect a USB-C external hard disk, simply plug it into a compatible USB-C port. If your device uses USB-A, Lightning, or another connector, you'll need the appropriate adapter. Using a compatible file system like exFAT makes it easier to share the drive between different devices.
