How can you obtain the path to your document in Mac?
I need the exact location of a file for a project I'm working on. How do you get the path of a file in Mac without using complicated commands?

The process to get the file path in macOS includes finding the required file in the Finder, clicking on it and pressing simultaneously the Option button and the right mouse button and selecting the menu item that says "Copy "filename" as Pathname".

To have an opportunity to check the location of your file, you need to enable Path Bar option in the Finder menu. In order to do this you need to select View and then "Show Path Bar".

If you need only to copy the file path in macOS, the Finder will help you easily. You need to right-click the file while holding the Option button and selecting the option "Copy as Pathname".

One of the simple ways to do this is to select the file in the Finder application and use Command + I keyboard shortcut in order to open the information window and look at the "Where" section.
